I lived at a YNS property for two years, and it wasn't really bad until my second year. Refused to asnwer maintenance requests and never answered any form of communication. Someone broke into the apartment next door to me and they didn't take any safety measures after it. DOwnstairs tenants were constantly bringing sketchy people into the buildng who routinely stole packages. Overall it was an unsafe living environment that YNS knew about, but took no action to rectify. Don't rent with them.
Absolute nightmare to live under, NO response to stolen mail issues, NO response to maintenance tickets, we've been here half a year and it just gets worse and worse

Our next door neighbor steals packages constantly with video evidence. Is loud,disrespectful and rude. AC/HVAC units break,management refuses to fix. Never call back or reply to tickets.

YNS has left our entire apartment building without gas for 10 days as of the writing of this post. We are without hot water in the middle of the winter and they have done nothing to remedy the issue. They have ignored or blown off any messages related to this issue. This it the 3rd gas leak in 4 months. 690 Bushwick Ave is not a safe building to inhabit.
This was one horrible living experience. If you want to live in a ***** hole, this is the place for you. Management is unresponsive, doesn’t care about your safety. All they respond to and care about is getting their rent money. It’s the only time you hear from them. I just had a severe leak for almost 6 hours and still no response from management. This is a safety hazard. The whole building had to call the fire department because management is so incompetent. There are rats all over the place and roaches everywhere. I can’t wait to leave!
