SAVE YOURSELF and KEEP LOOKING!!!! There’s a reason they have so many empty apartments!
I don’t know where to even start with the new management. Ashley Johnson,the property manager lacks all humanly care or concern for the residence. She is just here for a check. In September, I put a work order in and was told that there was nothing to worry about, that it was more than likely my garbage disposal causing gurgling noises in my sink. October, my kitchen was full of overflowing sewage! Yes literally sewage! Maintenance comes 3 hours later and attempts to fix it. With no luck after 2 hours, I’m told that they will need to call a plumber. Plummer comes and snakes the sink. He then tells both myself and the lead maintenance guy that this was a constructional issue and the city may need to send someone. I was advised by maintenance that he was going to let management know because that was above his head. November,I find maintenance on site and ask him if there was any update because my sink is still gurgling and I was scared that it would flood again. He tells me that he spoke with Ashley but she hadn’t said anything so he would follow up. I went by the office myself several times but the leasing agent say Ashely is either too busy or left the office early. It’s the holidays so I’m in and out of town and I don’t get a chance to ever speak with Ashley. Jan 30, my sink floods again. Long story short Ashley and the company is aware that the sewage line and oil line are combined and the only way to fix it is to remove all the residents on this pipeline but in her words “ it’s so expensive to get fixed, I’m not sure they will even fix something that large of a job”
I have been offered to move into a different apartment and get this… the accommodation is me not having to pay market pay in the new apartment! Or take 3/$500 gift cards within a 3 month time period. They really consider that as an accommodation for having to move out my home due to something that was out of my control and also something that they dropped the ball on.
All in all this company is now covering up a sewage blockage and is more concern with their budget concession when they should be really worried about building codes!
Knowing that I have no choice but to move, I asked for just a month free rent since I have no choice due to its condition. Ashley Johnson doesn’t care. The regional manager Sharise Linson doesn’t care, I’ve emailed and called her with no response……HOWEVER this story is to be continued!
Nasty carpet in the hallways is still an issue
Security is still and issue
Interior design/ remodeling from the storm LAST year is still and issue
Maintenance tries but there’s only 3 of them!
For the amount of rent you can find better!
